Nature Reimagined – A Little Pinch-Me Moment

It’s been a few weeks now since the Nature Reimagined virtual exhibition went live with @artistic_hub_magazine, and I’ve had some time to reflect on just how grateful and thrilled I am to have been part of it.

Six of my pieces were included in the show, which ran throughout December and brought together artists from around the world exploring nature through wildly diverse perspectives — from digital art to recycled sculpture. The theme resonated deeply with me, as so much of my practice centres on the more-than-human world, and on imagining our place within ecological systems in ways that are both critical and hopeful.

But the magic didn’t stop there…

I was also invited to feature in a double-page artist profile in Artistic Hub Magazine’s next print issue, themed “Art for the Future: Ecology and Sustainability.” A truly surreal, pinch-me moment — and one I’ll carry with me for a long time. To be recognised in this way by a team whose mission aligns so beautifully with my own artistic concerns… it means the world. Thank you so much to the Artistic Hub team for seeing something in my work and sharing it with their amazing audience.

You can buy the magazine online — and if you’re interested in supporting independent publishing and discovering a wonderful lineup of eco-conscious artists, definitely check it out via @artistic_hub_magazine.

One of the featured works, Civis terae sp.4 (pencil on paper), is part of an ongoing series exploring imagined ecologies — a blend of botanical observation and speculative world-building. To see this piece out in the world, sparking conversations and finding new eyes, has been incredibly heartening.
