Online Auction!
We are currently in a health crisis, told to stay at home to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect our NHS! So I have relocated my studio to my cosy flat in Edinburgh and continue to paint amidst the chaos.
I have grown up with the benefits of the NHS and my mother is a midwife, so it seems apt to support the NHS at a time like this, particularly as my focus as an artist is on surgical art and anatomy. So, I decided to put this painting, which I have named “PPE” up for auction to raise money for the NHS. This painting was created as part of my Surgical Art series from the comfort of my flat during the COVID-19 lockdown.
The bidding went amazingly and I was thrilled with the response. Thank you to everyone who helped, by sharing this with friends, family and colleagues.
